Plagger is a pluggable RSS/Atom feed aggregator written in Perl. You can think of Plagger as a blosxom/qpsmtpd for RSS aggregator.

This is an alpha software, but it provides various plugin hooks so that third-party plugins can extend:

* Subscription (Bloglines, Google Reader, My Yahoo!, OPML) * Classify/Tag Content (, Technorati, * Publish (Gmail, SMS, Mobile Mail, XHTML, CHTML, IMAP, NNTP, iPod)

By default, Plagger doesn't do anything with the 2 tough parts of aggregators: Crawling and User Interface, but lets other web services do it. My recommendation is to use Bloglines for Crawling and Gmail for User Interface (and Search).

Subversion repository:

svn co plagger
